To Bergerac, our nearest airport which is a 20 minute drive away, It is accessible from East Midlands, Liverpool, Stansted or Bristol at www.ryanair.co.uk from Birmingham, Exeter, Southampton, Manchester or Edinburgh at www.flybe.comfrom London City at www.ba.com ; from Leeds/Bradford at www.jet2.com. To Bordeaux – driving time is approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes –  from Gatwick at www.ba.com from Belfast, Glasgow, Liverpool, Bristol, Luton and Gatwick at www.easyjet.com.from Birmingham at www.flybe.com from Dublin at www.aerlingus.com .You can also fly to Limoges airport with www.ryanair.co.uk – a travel time of approximately 2 hours 20 minutes

By Train:

If you prefer the train, take the high speed TGV from Paris to Libourne (3 hours), which is on the outskirts of Bordeaux, and then the train from Libourne to St Foy Le Grande (1 hour) which is about 15kms away.

By car:

Travelling to any of the French cross channel ports will enable you to drive to La Colombiere – distances and travel time will vary depending on your entry point. Our preferred route is Portsmouth – Caen on the overnight ferry. Travel time 6 – 7 hours distance 380 miles. Tolls 30 euros in total. All approximate. We have also traveled the Newhaven – Dieppe route. Travel time from Dieppe 8 – 9 hours. Distance 450 miles. Tolls 15 euros. All approximate. Driving in France is generally very good with excellent clear motorways. Speed limits are 110 kph (70mph) or 130 kph (80 mph) in good weather conditions. Directions

From Bergerac Airport

Take the exit road out of the airport and turn right at the T-junction. At the roundabout, turn left (3rd exit), signposted Bordeaux. Cross the next roundabout and at the next take the 3rd exit signposted Eymet/Marmande onto the D933. Follow the road until you reach Fonroque. On right just as you enter the village you will see a small café “La Croquante”. Turn right here and then immediately left and you will see the green signs to “La Colombiere Gites, Chambres D’Hotes”.  Follow the road until you come to the crossroads. Turn left and La Colombiere can be seen immediately to your right across the parklands. After 100 yards turn right into the driveway and “Vous etes arrives!!”.

From Bordeaux airport

Follow the the Rocade (ringroad around Bordeaux) anticlockwise. Exit J19 signposted Agen. Stay on that motorway until junction 5. Follow D933 to Miramont / Eymet / Bergerac. Go through Miramont and Eymet until you come to Fonroque. As you reach the village there is a left turn signposted La Tulliere.  Turn left and after approx. 200m take the first left. Follow the road until you come to the crossroads.  Turn left and La Colombiere can be seen immediately to your right across the parklands. After 100 yards turn right into the driveway and “Vous etes arrives!!”
